Description: The T-Board for TIPPERS (Testbed for IoT-based Privacy-Preserving PERvasive Spaces) is a web-based application to visualize in real-time a set of data coming from sensors systems in a specific environment. In this case, the ETAD team designed and implemented a representation of the Donald Bren Hall building at UCI to visualize data related to occupancy and energy consumption. The TIPPERS project is led by PI Dr. Mehrotra and it is being developed to create a robust experimental testbed for real-world deployment, testing, and evaluation of a variety of privacy technologies in the Internet of Things scenarios. It has the capability to embed and test various privacy technologies, use case scenarios and IoT applications to expose privacy challenges, provide context to test validate privacy technologies and to study privacy/utility tradeoffs. Lastly, the detailed system and activity logs help understand potential privacy breaches and validate technology using privacy metrics.

Status: The T-Board web application was developed in 2017 and it is currently being expanded and integrated as part of the TIPPERS project. A demonstration of the T-Board is hosted at http://tboard.calit2.uci.edu
