Description: ‘My Happy Blood, MHB’ project is a mobile health intervention for patients who take blood-thinning medications called ‘anticoagulants’ to improve patient satisfaction with and adherence to anticoagulation therapy. Ultimately, we hope to reduce hospital readmissions related to adverse events such as major bleedings from the therapy. MHB is an exemplary of an interdisciplinary team from nursing, medicine, and CALIT2 at UCI.
